Airport Day

To start off the day Molly and I just pretty much sat in my room. We probably should've went to the group picture thing but we were too lazy. Then when we finally decide to leave we couldn't find the bus. So we went back upstairs to ask a team leader where to go. So we went back downstairs trying to find Rimrock Parkinglot. After getting ourselves confused we figured out we were in Rimrock Hall so the parking lot would be out front. [We are so bright...] We looked in the parking lot and alas there was no bus to be found. So we decided to look in the next parking lot over. Lets just say that we found it eventually and were one of the first people on...

Then on the way to the airport Tony dropped my Ipod mini but I didn't really care because I do it all the time.

When we got to the airport we got off a bus just to get on another one. Then we went to the terminal building. On the way over Molly hit me... I hit her back.. then she hit me again... then I hit her... Then she told JJ that she was a victim of an abusive relationship. BS. If any one is abused its me. [Molly has elbowed me, hit me in the eye with a rock, nearly made me fall down stairs, etc. and whenever she's mad she takes out her anger on who? me.] So JJ decided that she would seperate us. lol.

Back to the airport we saw the inside of the control tower, the radar room, the security check-in place and the hangers for the airplanes.

Did you know that the maintenance crew is also the airport firefighters? Well they are.

I got to sit in a snow plow. That made my day. A person feels so powerful behind the wheel of one of those vehicals.

They have really cool rocking chairs there. I was considering stealling one but that would be obvious. *picture this* I'm walking down the stairs with a chair. I try to look down at the steps while forgetting what's in my hands. I end up hitting someone [probably Molly]. She falls down the stairs. Realizing this I drop the chair, trip over it, and fall over/ onto the chair... *end of picture* Yeah they'll never notice. [please envision voice dripping with sarcasism]

Mandatory Socializing

I don't really like it. I like being in my own little bubble oblivious to almost everything around me. Don't Force Me To Socialize. When I want to talk to people I will. End of Story. Next topic please.

Being late
My friend and I were
late to class
after a break
The teachers freaked out
They wrote "negative" performance reports
We checked the time
But it was wrong apparently
We were two minutes late
Class hadn't even started
Tommorrow I can't have a break
That's dumb.

Things I thought I would never do

If a person told me a week ago

I would see John at Spencer's
John would become my foot warmer
John and I would talk on the phone for more than an hour each night
I would peel an orange one-handed and attempt eating it
I would have a conversation with John about shaving
I would see Barb at the Library
I would run into a swing set
I would willingly play wiffle-ball with my cousins
I would have never believed them.
But alas they all happened and my mind hurts.

Procrastination

I really despise writing these blogs. I have no motivation to actually write down what happens because everyone else in the program is doing the exact same thing.

Sharpies

I went on a field trip today to the airport again. Except this time I went inside the airport to look at the kite exhibit. It was kinda interesting. The best part though was when the tour guide-lady-person-who-sets-up-the-exhibit showed us the kite that was colored with sharpies. I really like sharpies. The black ones smell the best though. Don't ask ITs a very long story.

The poems I was forced to create. *warning* They are extremely sad *warning*

The Airplane I saw on Wednesday.
The plane stood still
waiting quietly for compiments.
The polished, shiny, alunimum flying fortress
B-17 plane smiled at the crowd of students.
Evaluating a web page
The important thing about the critical evaluation of the Web page info is:
that you know what you are talking about.
It proves the resourcefulness it promised
and makes researching easier
and makes sure the info is credible
and makes life easier in the the future,
so that you sleep easier at night.
But the most important thing about the critical evaluation of the Web info is:
that you know what you are talking about.
I'm pretty sure that resourcefulness is a word I made up...

Hello again it tis I.

It's been quite funny these last three or so days, because we couldn't get onto the server and it was driving everyone crazy. *evil cackle* No, it wasn't me who did it.

On Wednesday the group I was in went to the airport in this bus that smelt like a nursing home and saw this WWII fighter B-17 plane. Which was so cool-except for the fact that it never saw combat. The plane did go on 36... or was it 31?... missions. After looking at it for about 15 minutes or so I decided that I wanted to steal it.

Reasons why I wanted to steal it:

1. It had guns on all sides- even top and bottom.
2. I could learn how to fly.
3. It had empty bombs in it which were so pretty.
4. It makes an extremely loud noise when it flys.
5. I could tell Logan that I have an airplane and he doesn't- heck I could tell everyone that.
6. It shiny and the controls were really cool.
7. It has a little walk way in the middle of the plane and a person has to walk sideways to get through.
8. A person could sit on the bottom little bubble of the plane and look around.

Reasons why I decided not to steal it:

1. I don't really approve of violence and having a very large aircraft with guns on it might not be such a good idea.
2. Learning how to fly would take a very long time for me- I forget things easily.
3. I'm too lazy to do anything so drastic/dramatic.
4. It would make me go deaf.
5. Logan would probably want to hurt me and then tip off the police.
6. What if it got too shiny and I was blinded by it and messed up on the controls.
7. It would be extremely cold flying it in the elavation that they are supposed to fly in.
8. I would get kicked out of the program I'm in then get halled off to jail once they find me.

Yeah so that plan didn't really go into action.
When we got back to the college it turns out that we had to write a poem about the plane. Mine is pretty sad... I'll post it later because I'm too lazy to find the paper I wrote it on.

Yesterday my computer class had to evaluate web pages. Then we had to write a poem about that too so I'll post that later as well.

So this is a little dialouge that My friend Molly and I do...

person 1: Guess what today is?
person 2: [insert the day of the week it is]
person 1: Guess what that means?
person 2: 1 day closer to Friday.
person 1: And what does Friday mean?
person 1 & 2: FREEDOM!!!
This is copy righted as of right now by me and anyone who is sitting next to me.

Hello.

[By reading this blog you have given me brief control of your mind... You will send me candy-preferably chocolate]

Well, since I'm being forced to write something I may as well write about my observations about dorm life.

Observation #...

1: People are everywhere. You go to take a shower and you have to stand in a line.

2: Lines are everywhere... Did you know that an average person in America spends 1/3 of their life standing in lines? Could you imagine all that a person could do with that time? A person could brush their teeth longer, read a library of books, book tickets to concerts, spend time doing blogs. *hint hint* Lines are useless. *pondering for a very brief moment* Chaos would soon ensue if there weren't any lines.

3: Rooms mates are weird. [I mean it in a good way.] Mine for instance has a phone which rings at least once every two hours-well atleast it did this morning. Hmm... She has the comforts of home away from home, but my room mate is pretty nice though. She has the strangest alarm clock…

4. The food. The food is packed with a lot of processed items and to top it off the pasta tastes funny. **A note to everyone: Don't drink the blue juice. It tastes like something that a mad scientist would create to make sure that their kid would get their vitamins for the day.**

5. A student is constantly being watched by another, whether it’s another student or merely a figure of authority. [Not that it’s not cool or anything. It just takes a bit of adjusting to-ok a lot of adjusting to since I’m so used to being alone.]

6. The rooms are not air conditioned. Last night for instance I was too hot one minute then 5 minutes later I was too cold. I personally think that it’s a lose-lose situation.

7. My bed is extremely bouncy. When I plopped onto my bed I was bounced right back up.

Well that’s all the observations that I can think of on the top of my head so I bid you farewell.
